The Wiltshire town of Trowbridge is hosting a unique digital adventure this Easter, masterminded by its most famous gaming exports. Identical twin brothers Philip and Andrew Oliver, the legendary video game designers behind the Dizzy series, have returned to their hometown to launch an interactive Easter trail.
The 58-year-old twins, who founded the game development studio Blitz Games, have created a smartphone-based game that encourages families to explore the town centre. Participants use their devices to solve puzzles and uncover clues at various locations, blending physical exploration with digital gameplay.
The trail is designed to be a fun, engaging activity for all ages during the school holidays, offering a modern twist on the traditional Easter egg hunt. By choosing their hometown for this project, the Oliver twins aim to give back to the community where their own creative journey began decades ago. The trail runs throughout the Easter period, promising a fresh and innovative way for residents and visitors to discover Trowbridge.
