A new version of the popular exercise game is heading to Nintendo's next console. Imagineer has announced Fitness Boxing 3: Nintendo Switch 2 Edition, set to launch on July 24. This upgraded release brings several technical and gameplay improvements over the original Switch version.
The most notable change is a smoother frame rate, which should make the motion tracking feel more responsive during workouts. The game also introduces a new scoring mode that gives players more detailed feedback on their form and rhythm. For those who like to exercise with friends, the Switch 2 Edition will support GameShare, allowing multiple players to join a session using just one copy of the game.
Other additions include new music tracks and fresh workout routines designed to keep the experience engaging. The core concept remains the same: players follow an on-screen instructor and punch to the beat. But the Switch 2 hardware allows for sharper visuals and faster load times, which should reduce downtime between exercises.
Pre-orders are expected to open soon. The standard edition will retail for $49.99, while a special version with extra downloadable content will be available for $59.99. This marks the first major fitness title confirmed for the Switch 2, aiming to appeal to both returning players and newcomers looking for a fun way to stay active.
